Hey, I just noticed that the book (a great book!) was written by William Goldman. This isn't the same guy as Bill Goldman, the magician, is it?

Two different guys. Bill is a great magician & inventor of magic. William is a world-class writer: Princess Bride, Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid, Absolute Power, Misery, Heat (which he originally wrote the book), Magic, Marathon (both the book & film), etc... he also wrote two excellent books on writing film scripts called What Lies Did I Tell You? & Adventures in the Screentrade. These are must books if you want to know about the politics of writing and getting films produced.
