I got a knock on my door yesterday and it was a neighbor lady who kindly gave me a device that she inherited from her Uncle.
I don't know if it is a "magic effect" or if it falls under the puzzle category. I am trying to identify and get information on this. It is 3 real metal Horsehoes, all attached with chain. On the chain is 3 metal rings. Any ideas on what this is called? What is the purpose? What do I do with it etc.? Like I said, it was a gift, and I thought I would check with you guys. Thanks.

Dr,
Those are it, only mine are a bit bigger it seems and not gold...but iron. Now, how do I solve it!? (I am not a puzzle guy).

If I remember correctly you need to put the horseshoes parallel to each other so they look like large Cs then you can remove the rings. It's hard to explain it without having one in your hands.

Most puzzles like this are rather simple...after you solve them.
Looks like a neat puzzle. |
