Neat little trick I learned by hanging out with a friend of mine.
Snap your right finger behind yoru neck while pusing your head back with your left hand. (left hand will be on the chin while it pushes back) Snap finger and it really sounds like you are cracking your neck. Does anyone else know any cool, weird things like this they would like to share? :) |

Do the same thing with a plastic water bottle or plastic cup in your armpit covered with your coat. A little rolling action on the bottle causes a really awful noise. Penn and Teller's books are full of things like this. Mac King's book is also good for these type of effects.

Awesome.. Where can I find penn and tellers books? I never knew they existed!
I assume these are pretty older. Do any DVD's come to mind for some more powerful things rather than some little neat tricks? |

Hide a watch winder gimmick in your hand while both hands hold your head and turn it sharply to the right or left. As you turn your head give a series of quick clicks from the watch winder. This looks great. You can also use it in the mensroom. As you zip up your pants make the watch noise, it looks and sounds like you've got an industrial strength zipper.
If you don't know what a watch winder is, here is an example http://www.hamptonridge.com/product_pages/watchwinder.html |

I have good luck finding P&T books at the used book store. You can still find "Play in Traffic" at Barnes and Noble, same with the Mac King book. There was a local guy out here who put out a video called "Jawdroppers" it was mostly tricks that could be done impromptu with everyday objects. If you are looking for that type of thing head on over to the "At a Moments Notice" area of this site. There is tons of this kind of thing, including video recommendations.

Thanks for telling the world Chris. Just kidding, I have great reactions with it. I just pop it in there when I am doing something. I'll say, Oh, I forgot to warm up, BAM. Or my neck is feeling wierd, etc. I've freaked out chiropractors with it too. Tuesday was our first day of school, I was actually cracked my neck twice, then cracked it really loud, and my teacher stared at me like there was something seriously wrong, which is okay.
Chris, you comming in tomarrow? Brian

Love your idea for the watch winder and the zipper kinesis. I'd like to stand off to the side and watch the expressions on their faces as you do that! Their probably saying to themselves "what's he winding?"
