Hi Everyone,
I bought the Mak Magic circus wagon a few months ago for my rabbit production. I've only used it about 6 times and the front and back panels have fallen apart. The screws are only about 3/8th's of an inch long and very tiny and thin at that. I"m terribly dissapointed. Anyone else had this problem and how did you patch the thing together? Any ideas or suggestions are most welcome. Yours in magic, JoJo

I know you have already dropped the $$ for the Mak wagon, but if you decide to do it again, go with Wolf's Magic Funhouse. I have one and it's built like a tank, functions perfectly EVERYTIME, and looks fantastic! Very cool stuff as I have learned to expect from Chance.
Maybe you should talk to whoever you bought it from and complain. Maybe you can get your money back and put it towards a better built product. I would try at least, the Circus Wagon is too expensive to just fall apart. Best of luck, Keith

Thanks Keith. I got it from Hocus Pocus actually. It looks real nice and has worked great, but when I've got it back home I noticed the front and back panels had dislocated from the screws.
I may drop them a line and let them know. Thanks for the suggetion, JoJo

If you do have to repair it yourself, you might want to take a look at a new product called "gorilla glue" available at Lowe's, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, etc. I have used it to repair many items and it works great and is amazingly strong! John The Gospel Magic Man |

Hi John,
Thanks for the idea on the Gorilla Glue. Unfortunately those stores don't exist here in Taiwan. I may have to use a simple U brace to hold it together. JoJo

If you can drill the holes thru and replace the screws with little nuts and bolts with lock washers. You may even replace the hinges if they are cheap. Repaint to match the outside.
Nothing would get done at all, if man waited so long that no one could find fault with it.

HI there,
The problem is with the main panels of the front and back. The screws are only about 1/4 of an inch and very thin and screw directly into the face of the main body of the wagon. The problem is not with the swing door that opens up on the front, but the main front panel that joins the body of the wagon. I now fear that instead of being solid wood, it's manufactured board and not solid at all. I'm quite dissapointed to be honest. JoJo

I made the first circus wagon balloon to bunnys years ago before MAK Magic copied mine. Mine was always made a Birch hardwood. I haven't put them on my web site yet but soon. jldmagic.com
