Hi everyone,
I have seen Jay from Penguinmagic.co.uk perform a hat through arm (on a demo CD-ROM). I can't remember the effect, so I suppose I shall have to explain it. Jay takes his hat off his head, and then puts his arm into the hat past his elbow - yet the size of the hat is that equivalent to a bowler hat. Does anyone know how to do this or have any information that can help me with it? Cheers, Chris |

You can find it on Jim Pace's "Visu-Antics" DVD, simply called "Hat Trick."

Yup, Jim Pace uses it in Visu-Antics. He does it in a comical way so it's more convincing and fun to do.

Thanks everyone. By the way, where can I find Sylvester the Jester doing this move? And what's it called? Cheers

Get Jim Pace's Visu-Antics DVD.
Full of surprises and it has the arm into hat gag. Highly recommended! Best of luck, Michael |

Is the move a simple move or do you really need a video to learn it? Just curious
