Do you feel that, given the amount of publicity they generated, the two specials you made were better use of television than your series? Or was the chance to develop a character over weeks more important to you?
I know that it must take a massive amount of time and creative effort to put a series together, so in order to avoid overexposure would you consider only producing specials like Copperfield and David Blaine? Also, I read once, though I can't think where, that you don't plan to be a mentalist indefinately and at some stage you intend to retire from performing and devote more time to painting. If that is indeed the case (and the evil thought pixies didn't make that up in order to confound me) can we expect a big, no holds barred, magnus opus on mentalism - 'shooting yourself and winding up Christians for fun and profit', or 'become a mind reader for £80 plus shipping'? Or will you be keeping tight lipped? |
