I love volume collections. I love the variety in them.
I am contemplating purchasing Apocalypse (eventually all the volumes). I wish to know if it is worth the money...and the time. I searched all I could on this forum for reviews of this book, but I cannot find a straight review. People always refer to this collection, so I take that as being good...but I still would like a review from those that own it or have read it. Thanks...

I have and have read all 4 volumes. These range from incredibly good to so-so notions that probably happened over coffee too late at night. The indexes , being by volume order, by catergory (coin, ball, cards, rope, etc.) and by aurhtor, is incredibly helpful. The first two volumes are much better than the last two-though there are gems in each one. Lortayne's writing style is unique and it really opened my eyes up to why some people make the comments about him that they do. Also-better crediting research could have been done as well. Personally, it was not Collected Almanac, but I still use them quite often.

Great resource, helpful index by author and trick category. Excellent value.
