Hi David-
In the past I have heard you talk about "setting the mood" for a performance. I perform mostly for friends and family. The problem is that the dinner table or the booth at Denny's does not seem to lend a whole lot as far as ATMOSPHERE is concerned. I guess if I were performing in a theater I could control the environment...but out and about with friends this is difficult to do. Any suggestions as to how can I enhance the magical experience for my audience? Thanks! |

This is a difficult question. One of the reasons I moved away from restaurant work was that I wanted more control over the circumstances in which the audience experiences my magic. I suppose my advice to you would be to plan ahead, pick your moments carefully and take advantage of settings that might lend themselves to the mood you wish to create. (I'm guessing not Denny's.)
