It was my great pleasure and an honor to have had lunch yesterday with the great Kondini. It was fantastic finally meeting him and his charming wife Pat while they are visiting New York. Lunch turned into a 4 and a half hour bull session, with Ken and Pat telling stories of their life on the road. The only reason it got cut that short was I had to get home and get some sleep before work. Ken and his wife are wonderfully down to earth people and a lot of fun to talk to. They have about a million stories and I only hope I will be able to spend soome more time with them before they head home. If not, they made me promise to visit them in the UK, so now I have one more reason to go. I only hope others on this board have the opportunity to meet these two treasures of the escape community.

Tony you should of told me you were meeting Ken/Kondini. I would of told you to ask Him if he Met Billy yet. LOL ask Ken he'll know I'll like to know whats going on with Billy. Don,

Had the pleasure of meeting Ken and Pat for the first time a few months back, and catching the act. Really good entertaining stuff. Great people!

I can only agree with you about Kondini. He is a great escapologist, a down to earth person who says what he thinks and a real character. I think Kondini has so much experience of performing professionally, he has the right to say what he thinks (as he will)and to be shown the respect due. I hope to see him next at the UKEA meeting.
If you do come over and visit, make sure to drop in.

Depending on when you come, you hopefully could make a UKEA meeting and meet all the guys......And Riley!

Hi all, yes the great one is back (Somewhat jetlagged).
Got a load to do so will post on and off for a few weeks.
First a huge thankyou to all the great guys over there who made our stay such a pleasure, you have given Pat and me memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives,we both thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The fellowship of escapologists really exists, contrary to the postings on other threads.

From stepping on the Coney Island stage,to completing my 500th challenge escape (Plus loosing a tooth in the process)To shooting the bull with Johnny Fox in his Freakatoriam to the fine Italian meal with Tony and his mad lady friend, meeting at Dennys with a fellow Brookie fan or getting escorted off the Brooklyn Bridge by two great cops these memories I will cherish. The gifts from all we met were most unexpected, I parade around my small Wiltshire village with a NYPD Tee shirt on worn with pride (The villagers already know that I am mad, but what the hell).

During the three weeks we were guest`s in your great country, we met 23 pro performers, missed out meeting with three others but each and everyone gave a little of their own personality to us, shared an hour or more with us, it was unbelievable.

On a more personal note:: I at last made contact with my three half brothers, it took 56 years,,,,,so like it or not,,,,I am half a Yank.

Supposedly he was a Friend of Denny Lee. I wonder if he can *POOF* now out of prison maybe Tony can help us here now.
