Does anyone have a review on this? I recently saw it listed at http://www.elmwoodmagic.com and at Hank Lee's site.
Supposedly this effect hasn't been seen in twenty years, but is now not only available , but improved. It's a close-up or stage switching device. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.Thank you. |

Seems great for stage or parlor!...but for close-up I don't think it would be too practical?

I agree with MagicCarisio. It is really not meant to be used in a close-up setting. I am sure that there is some noise whe nthe mechanism is activated. In addition, the bulldog clip on a stand would look out of place on a table in a close-up show.
However, it is a terrific utility device for stage and/or parlour use. It is a remake of a device created some time ago. This version uses a spring mechanism as opposed to a rubber band so the action is quicker and there is not concern about the rubber band breaking. Best regards, Michael
