It comes with special features as well as the movie in wide screen. You also get the outtakes and if you own an Xbox you can play the first level of the game.

I went to see this back in the summer with my daughter. We liked it a lot. I am hoping to get a copy for Halloween. My daughter is having some friends over and they want to watch a late-night horror movie.

Just watched it tonight with the wife and my two lads aged 19 and 13. It's a good 'young persons' film. Lots of funny scenarios copying Bride of Frankenstein, James Bond movies, Alien, - even creatures that look like Sand People from Starwars. Wish Alan Silvestri had eased off the loud percussion a little more in his musical score!
When I was 13 I went to watch Oliver Reed in Curse of the Werewolf and I didn't sleep for days after. Even just turned 30, Poltergeist and American Werewolf in London spooked me a little. When you turn 50 I guess nothing like this has any effect at all on you. Enjoy things a little more disgusting like Silence of the Lambs etc. If we watch anything on Halloween I don't think you can beat John Carpenter's movie with Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasance. It still holds up after all these years! Tony. |

I was not a huge fan of this flick...but that is probably do to my love and fondness of Vampiric Lore, and that of the Paranormal.

I did not know about the collector's version. I just picked one up and I haven't even looked yet. I will have to find out. I hope that I did!

It's funny when people call it a monster movie. I think of it purely as a Kate Beckinsale movie. And she is certainly no monster.

My daughter and her friend ( both 11 ) rented it for a Haloween sleepover. They got a few minutes in and got too scared to watch any further. They might have let me know, I've been wanting to see it. I think it will be on the Christmas DVD list now.
We're having a laugh!
