I had one made last Tuesday. Or actually this still looks like a few sizes too big but its getting there...
Ok, I had a deformity inside my nose which made breathing a bit difficult (breathing is one of my dearest hobbies, if I take a too long break I feel really dead) and it also made the nose "unsymmetrical". In all honesty, I cant recommend this to anyone, unless you really really need it like I did. The pain and stuffiness and general misery is not worth it. Only because I can breathe better when this is over, keeps me going. But still....the painkillers make the world seem such a nice place

My stepfather hit me with a soup pot during a discussion pertaining to his leaving the house pink or black and blue. (He chose multi-color!) My left nostril hasn't worked since. I've considered getting it fixed, but as you've said, it involves weeks of discomfort and probably missed work.

Mandrake01, I´ve gotten over it finally. Once the internal supports were removed, life has been getting better day by day. I can sleep through the night without having to wake up to blow my nose and I´m much more rested in the morning. All the suffering was really worth this.
I´d suggest you get it taken care of. It has made a HUGE difference in my life.
