I'm not sure if this is the place to ask but does anyone know where I can find wide Bicycle cards?
Thanks in advance |

Wide Bicycles? Do you mean Poker size or Jumbo and where are you based?

Wide poker sized cards. About 1/16th of an inch wider than standard Bicycles. I am based out of NYC, Phila, and LA.

Hi Robertson
I've never heard of these, are they only available in the US, where are they used? Al.

There are many poker-sized decks available with the extra width, just not Bicycles. These decks usually have an advertisment theme or a large index.

You can get small bikes... these are about a 1/16th of an inch smaller on all sides. If you use the whole deck then put in one regular card you will have a wide card.

Thanks for the info, guys. Big Al Jnr, there are some effects in Jinx which use a wide card. I have never heard of wide Bikes, but as Dr. Zordas said there are other decks available with wide cards. It was wishfull thinking on my part for Bicycles.
I tried a few things from smashing the ends with a hammer to make it wider, to cutting every card short. They both provided unfavorable results. Nick 23, where can I get small bikes? I know there are certain decks (a mirage deck?) with 26 thin cards but I believe every thin card is the same. Is there a regular deck in which all of the cards are different? Thanks again. |

You can clamp a deck and use a belt sander to take off a consistent amount. Just do both sides the same to avoid a thin border on one side.
Or you may email US Playing Card Co. consumerrelations@usplayingcard.com
Nothing would get done at all, if man waited so long that no one could find fault with it.

Would bridge size bikes work with a poker size bike?

Bride size vs. Poker size does not work for THAT.
It is a "bit" more than just a 1/16" variation.
