Does anybody have Tony Clark's Coins to Dollars and how do they like it.

It's kind of a "double" version of an old Steve Duscheck trick called, "Half A Buck." But, it is very cool, well made and easy to do. Simply show the coins and they seem to "melt" into a one dollar bill which can now be shown on both sides. The work is fairly invisible, but, of course, the bill cannot be examined. It is a very good trick.

Agree.
I did the illustrations for this, so got to play with it alot. For you strollers and restaurant folks, You can also reset the thing instantly WHILE IN PLAY, while explaining that you are happy to keep the bill to spend later. Tuck it in your pocket and you are set to go again. This is excellent thinking on Tony's part, and the visual is most amazing. One of the nicest things is that there are no sleights or 'moves', no pocket work, this one is VERY clean and visual. The two coins just meld into the real bill, and from that point, your hands are clean! Just do it, show the bill both sides with empty hands, Bam, real magic.
We dance an invisible dance to music they cannot hear.

This one always stays in my pocket.
Just as tom sais above.its visual magic at its best. I got it from a fellow Café member and still love this day. Point to note that it will take an hour or so of handling practice so you can do it smooth but its OH SO EASY. |

Runaway, Tom and Mehtas, thanks for taking the time to respond. I browsed around the Café and only saw one review. It sounds like a great trick that doesn't get much play. As a newcomer, I appreciate the help.

I saw it at a couple of places. It pretty much goes for $25.00. It was at the trickery.com and Daytona Magic. I'm not to familiar with those sellers but the price seems to be around the same all over. You might want to Google it and check shipping and tax costs for the best deal. that's what I'm gonna do when I'm ready to order.
