I don't think De'vo would appreciate it if his material was taught by somebody other than himself, would you? If you don't own Cradle to Grave, it's not your priveledge to know. The main reason is that he wants people to learn it right! Surely if you enjoy De'vo's material, you should support him and buy his DVD(s), and access his teaching forums. I'm sure you could agree with that.
As for the speed fan, the fact that it's done faster is not the only difference. You are right though, it is very similar to a Jerry's thumb fan. There is a difference though, which is why De'vo uses it specially for certain moves of his.

I do intend on supporting De'vo by getting several of his products for Christmas.

"If you don't own Cradle to Grave, then it's not your privelege to know that"
I Own Cradle to grave and I don't even know what you guys are talking about?? I don't think he was asking how the move was done, he was just asking what the difference was |

If you own Cradle To Grave you know where to ask about it.

If you own Cradle to Grave, buying it from one of the official sellers, you will have access to one of the CTG special forums, where the speed fan as well as some other fans are taught. They aren't included on the DVD but are explained on the forum.
The reason why I called it a privelege is because it is a privelege to have access to the forum. When you buy the DVD, you have the privelege to access this forum, where these details are explained and taught.

I'm sorry, maybe the question is stupid because they are the same as said, but I was just curious. And of course, I didn't mean to ask for exposure or anything like that, it is just a darn fan, not worth to argue about.

The question wasn't stupid. just asked in the wrong place that's all.
The difference lies in how you spread the cards. can't really say more.

I will try to answer the question.
QUESTION Hi, anyone please tell me what is the difference between De'vo SPEED FAN and Jerry THUMBFAN ? ANSWER Yes there is a difference. The difference is how it's spread and formed. The beginning of the spread is a thumb fan spread, but the rest is different. I don't want to expose this great fan's methods, so I'd recommend buying CTG and going to the forum. There is both a video showing the speed fan in motion and written instructions explaining it all. You will then understand all grasshopper. QUESTION to me Speed fan is a faster thumb fan, am I wrong ? ANSWER Yes, your wrong. Mike

Speed fan is simply another way of fanning. Thin the pressure fan/ thumb fan. It's differnt in hat kind of way.
To be honest, I think that if jerry/de'vo had never come up with it, and then some member of TMC had invented it and called it original, every HL member within 1000miles would have slaughtered them. But still Roman |

Thanks Caution, I will post up my Kay Fan soon, I just came up after your post. It looks pretty much like thumb fan but replacement of thumbs is different. I don't know if it's original.

As for the topic, I think it's been answered. Purchase CTG if you wanna find out, period. Nothing more needs to be said.

Admins? Why delete a perfectly good question ?
If Kay claims to be a true underground HL member why doesn't he know the difference between a speed fan and a thumb fan? |
