Can anyone provide any information about the Blizzard 2000 effect from Viking? I'm considering adding this to my show, but before I make the investment I'd like to know of your experience with it, positive or negative. I'm concerned that the compressed CO2 flowing through a small nozzle will make a lot of noise. Any information you can provide would really be appreciated.
Thank you. Tony |

Use music to cover the noise. Yes it will make noise... I don't know how much but I am sure it will a good amount. Some music to mask it would work out great. I have heard some really neat things about it. So that is all I can say since I have not worked with the piece myself.

What is Blizzard 2000? Think I have to go and check first. Can hardly be better than the original, can it?

Just checked and I am sorry, guys. I confused the trick with something else. Looks cool though.

I recommend using the "snow animator" from Kevin James instead of using the blizzard 2000.
With the blizzard you have to wear the gimmick during the show & the air flow is not so long! (& strong ) |

Thanks for the advice, el rafael. I've been looking at the snow animator too.
If I go with the snow animator I'll likely purchase the snow animator II, although I am considering the snow animator III as well. |

I think the number II is sweet. I saw this version done live by Mike Super and it was pretty sweet. The presentation was far from orginal but it looked sweet. I love to see Kevin do this live

I think I like the animator II better as well. I don't think it looks as magical to take a box out on stage, open it, and not show anyone what is inside. It will only make people wonder what the box is really for. On the other hand, I don't think anyone would question a stool that you are sitting on.
