Does anyone pull out a IT effect when confronted with "do a trick"? If so, to what extent?

What do you mean exactly ?
I often walk around "attached" to an IT. From this point I can do many tricks which appear to be impromtu. I usually use bill or a sugar. I never take it to far because then people will suspect I'm using a gimmick and I don't want that. Just make it move a little on the table, combining two parts: blowing (the IT isn't at use), and bringing it back (the IT is in use). Jonathan |

One could certainly wear a IT loop when going where someone might ask to see a trick. That would allow what would appear to be an impromptu effect.

There are two easy ways to "always be ready" to perform IT routines seemingly impromptu,
the first one is using a ITR, and the second is using Loops. If you are interested in the subject I would suggest you search some threads in the Rings, Strings & Things Forum, where there are a lot of nice information about them both. -e-

Also watch your watchstraps not to interfere with the devise... As I did made them myself, the prob wasn't that big, but still I got annoyed everytime I ruined one...

Understand how you feel Werner,
I'v probably broken about a hundred of them. But if you tie them you should experiment with different types of elastics, some are bad and some are really great for loops. I tend to go for stronger threads than total invisibility.. -e-

I believe I once saw a technique that tells you how to repair a broken loop.. it saves money for buying new loops! also, you can make your own loops.
I don't remember exactly, because I don't use it. Jonathan. |

Loops are the anytime anywhere application of IT. There are also many different hookups that can be accessed anytime anywhere...
