I've been a Pat Page fan for thirty years, and use a lot of his material.
He sells a lot of the "Patlock" at Conventions and his many lectures around the globe. His stuff is "real world for real people". I agree with all that Mark Tripp says above. To me, Pat Page's books and teaching tapes are worth their weight in gold! When I saw him demonstrate the "Patlock" I nearly bought one myself Ros: I haven't seen Pastor Clyde's version but it sounds similar. Will PM you the routine I mentioned. Riley |

Hi all, I am very glad to see that there are several people out there making things. Both Mick's new lock, Riley's and Clyde's all go to enhance performances and keep the pressure up for thinking up new ideas. As everyone is letting people know of their ideas, I would like to add to the info sharing with the my "Key Choice" padlock (2002), pin tumbler version of the Key-R-ect. When Mick told me of his idea, I was thrilled to hear his description of how it worked. There is really one way I have ever thought of doing this effect mechanically and Mick's years of locksmithing experinece pointed him the same direction I took. I hope it's a great success for you.
Also on the subject of combination locks, I have just designed and made the Master #175 resetable combination padlock that opens by a "secret method" but no wheel/s have been altered. Get the specataor to change the combination to any 4 numbers they like and quicker than they could dial it up again, the escape artist can open the lock. Keep an eye on the Cannon's site for details in the new few weeks. regards Ian

Thanks to those who have PMed about the new lock Master #175. This is not a copy of any other combination lock that I know of. There was one for sale several years in catalogue I have ($200.00) but the operation and method is very different and so will be the price. No wheels or parts of the combination lock have been altered so you can safely have the combo changed and tested by several spectators.
thanks Ian

<<<This has nothing to do with "shaking your tree" but instead has to do with an additional comment I made that was both astute and accurate.>>>
Keep saying that Steve, I am sure someone may believe it. <<<I am far from, as you put it Mr.Tripp, "unarmed".>>> I have seen no evidence of same. You made Mr. Baker your personal project, and now you have made me the same. As I said, you began this little tempest in a tea pot. <<<Please put away your ego and allow others to make comments and observations here that you do not take as personal attacks or challenges to your own.>>> LOL! ROTFFLMGDAO!!!!!!! That dear sir is the projection of YOUR problems on to me. Best exmaple yet. <<<Other people here have input as well. Not only you.>>> No Steve, input would be helpful and uplifting. From your first shot at me, which I proved WRONG and rather than say you were sorry you began the attack in earnest, ALL you are doing is going after me. Your ego, and you making it personal. Post something helpful Steve, you will find it feels better. |

Come on guys. Both of you show that you are a better person and apologise to each other and let it be. I see both points and agree as well as disagree with both of you. Lets not fight. We play on the same team. Come on now. Kiss and make up!

Hee hee. I will have to do a bullet catching routine to get their attention first. I don't think there will ever be world peace.

I just received my SupaLok and I'm extremely pleased with this item.
It works beautifully and resets very quickly. After flooring family and friends with it I like to really fry them by letting them examine it. This allows me misdirection for my next effect. I highly recommend SupaLok. |

I am curious how this would compare to Ray Carlyle's Gravity Lock by anyone with experience. They appear to have different characteristics between the various states of the locked and unlocked conditions and the handling. Just curious in the hands of the experienced on a pros and cons comparison.
