As everyone is talking about beer and wine, how about mixers with Vodka. What do you use?
We find that it goes very pleasantly with Sangria. Also try a mix of Vodka, Pepsi and Cranberry Juice. There is also a supermarket chain brand in the UK, Vodka and Blood Orange - very tasty. Bought a bottle of Russian Vodka in a store in the Canary Isles a couple of weeks ago (now all gone), it was 37% proof! Cost about 11 Euros (sorry, British keyboards don't have Euro sign keys! Well mine doesn't!!) Tony. |

Electric or Long Island Tea is my personal favorite for Vodka. Or just a good old fashioned Harvey Wallbanger.

Want in on a super secret for making your own high quality vodka for cheap?
http://www.ohmygoditburns.com/ Basically you can take the cheapest plastic bottle vodka, pour it through a brita filter 4-5 times, and it will come out better than the most expensive vodka's. Enjoy |

Very entertaining. I like the photos - it's almost a sort of 'pornography of alcohol' type site.

Try it, it is really nice. Grand Marnier is ofter used in cosmopolitans so it tends to be a liqeure which is over looked and not often used.

Cut my eye teeth in magic behind a bar... Cosmopolitans are for pretentious children learning where their taste buds are. Grand Marnier is of such high pedigree that to use it as a mere ingredient is an insult to the very name. Warm it in a snifter and it will reveal many of life's secrets to you.

My favourite vodka mixer is tomato juice but everyone thinks I'm weird (dash of tabasco if I'm feeling daring).
As far as other drinks, an Irish or Scotch single malt with a dash of still water. Perfect. Quite partial to a black russian with coke and a Guinness head. |

How about a White Russian (made popular in the film the Big Lebowski)
White Russian= 1 1/2oz Vodka 3/4oz Kahlua and 3/4oz Light Cream or Milk |
