what the...? Veteran user North Carolina 378 Posts |
I was thinking about getting this for Christmas. I've seen the rings up close and think that it would be quite an effect. Plus, I have a great routine for them. Any reviews of people who have them?

I don't own them myself but at the magic shop I work at we had a set. They are very cool. With the included gloves they are a real fooler. They wouldn't really fit into my act but I just loved the idea of them. They can be played serious but I they they would play better for laughs... If you had any more questions let me know...

This had been out quite a while and a friend of mine used to do it. A funny routine. Different.

The routine, when done correctly, is hilarious. It takes an "old-school" effect, and adds a lot of humor. Almost takes the edge off all the "I've seen that a million times, they're just gonna link and come apart" thoughts.

Was was thinking of making an effect like this, getting a set of large linking rings and wrapping barbed wire around them etc. Then I saw this effect and it looks nice. But why is it called quadro vicious when there is only three rings, I think? Anyway I may get this.

Quadro (of Quadro & Lazar) was the guy who invented it. He's the same guy who also created the Quadro Chick routine where the string puppet of a baby chick picks up a chosen card.

I had and used three sets of Quadro Vicious -- and supplied Murphy's the sample when they obtained rights from Quadro and Lazar. They are either a very dangerous linking ring routine with barbed wire -- or a hilarious barbed wire linking ring routine depending on what you do with them.
Completely safe and VERY fooling these were a staple of my cabaret act. I have two sets left and expect to sell them through my photobucket and Café links after I shoot them when I get back frm the hospital tomorrow.

I have these and they are VERY nicely made. This is a great routine as it contains a lot of humor and at the end a little mystery! What more can you ask for? This could be a good 10+ minute routine full of laughs!

I ordered this the other week. It came in the post today, this looks quite nice, nice routine. It works roughly how I thought it would, bu the main gimmick is nice. It is quite well made, but not VERY nicely made as RNK says. but overall for $140 it is a VERY nice routine/effect!

The main thing was the m****t in the TT was not strong enough to hold the ring as described. I have an old Thumbs up from Hotrix I will just buy a new one and glue it in there. but overall This is well made and a great effect.
