I would need to know a little more about your interests such as are you into rope, cards, packet tricks, mentalism, or slight of hand effects? There is so much stuff out there that it is difficult to suggest without knowing a bit more. Since you are new to magic you may not know what you are interested in so I would suggest a DVD of various effects so you could try a little of everything at first to determine what is going to work for you.

If you are that new be sure to get basic instruction DVD's first. Better yet, get some classic beginner's books also.
If you are into coins, Bobo's Modern Coin Magic Cards - Royal Road to Card Magic Magic in General - MArk Wilson, Bill Tarr, Tarbell

Again, I must endorse this video series. "Jawdroppers" by Larry Anderson is a must if you are new to magic. There is a lot of great impromptu magic that can be used in everyday situations using standard everyday items. Cards, coins, napkins, rubberbands, etc. Check it out here:

Hi, welcome to the Café but this isn't really the right place to place this topic, Try "Beginers table"
