Does anyone have any experience with the Beta Wallet?
I may buy one and wanted some "real world" feedback. I enjoy regularly using a Pimpernel Notecase. (wallet) The description on the Beta Wallet is intriguing and I thought it might make an "alternative" to my Pimpernel. What are your thoughts? Thanks - Ron |

As a self professed wallet junkie I have, in all my travels in time and space, never encountered such a device. Pray tell, who makes such a device and where might a lonely Timelord procure the said device?

Aside from those of us wanting info on this wallet, is there ANYONE out there who actually have/do own a Beat Wallet and can give us some real world feedback???
Thanks for any and all responses! Ron |

Hey Ron!
I have this wallet...it's O.K. The ad is a little misleading concerning the "thought of card" being in the wallet. This part of the effect is similiar to Rich Marottas "Marked Prediction" effect. So if you think that the actual thought of card will be in the wallet...you will be disappointed. The rest of the wallet is just like any other CTW...you can load it a few different ways. I hope this helps, Cody S. Fisher MUM Magazine

Hey Cody!
As usual, your experienced feedback is exactly what's needed and much appreciated. Thank you. Without sounding like a commercial spot, your "Unforgettable Coin Magic of Cody Fisher" DVD is a great source for real world coin magic. (I'm still working on your CSB routine) If anyone doubts the level of Cody's handling or the DVD itself, check out this site: http://www.xmission.com/~zerowc/reviews/0212unforget.html Thanks again for your response Cody. If this is the same wallet I had about 6 or 7 years ago I must say that it looked extremely ugly. Very bulky and unlike any modern wallet I've seen. It was versatile though.

Ron,
I also own this wallet. The quality is nice, but I must say that the built in loading portion of the wallet leaves a bit to be desired and the zipper compartment is a little too tight to fit an envelope into. Also the inner wallet does function well enough for my use in the real world. For a while I was just making small envelopes from scratch that would fit into the compartment to take its place. I would highly recommend the Garnier Wallet from Camirand Magic. It has been a dream to work with. A plus is that when you do a signed card to sealed envelope....the spectator gets to open the envelope....and it operates better than any other wallet I have tried....not to mention is it like 3 wallets in one....Le Paul, Mullica, and Kaps if I am not mistaken. I heard it's being replaced with a VHS wallet...
