OK, I know I'm probably way behind the power curve on this one, but I just saw met Doc Eason at a lecture last month and decided to get "Anniversary Waltz." This is the single most powerful effect I could possibly conjur with a deck of cards! It's way underpriced. Get it. Don't pass "Go." etc...
The two spectators you use for this trick will remember you forever. I'm playing with variations on the patter, so it doesn't always have to involve love. Anytime two people have a common bond of some sort, this trick will work. I'm going to have to start buying the gaffs in bulk.
I need a stage name.

I totally agree. the Anniversary Waltz is truly one of the best out there! I also agree that we should figure out patters of our own. I'm sure this is what Doc wants. I remember Doc saying somewhere that he marketed this gem so it could be our personal effect. If I created such a great piece such as this , I would not want to see someone perform it exactly like I do word for word.
Peace, Rannie

I just started doing a effect using Rocky the magic raccoon. I force a card and
then I dump the cards in a magic top hat. Rocky picks out the card after a lot of fun. I found the top hat at a flea market. |
