Get a deck of factory-made one way force decks...
The cut will probably be off, so use a pencil and edge mark(run down the side of the deck) on a certain side. Then you have 52 dupes that you know which end will match... |

Need help with my Intercessor.
For some reason I can't get the edges to meet up 100% the same, ( I mean the torn edges). It is very, very close. But under close scrutiny it might be seen that it is not the same. THis is why I have yet to use it in a performance. Can I sharpen it or just use it as is and no- one notices. Thanks Ilan

Does anyone know if a succesful group was ever formed around the Intercessor?
It could be a true miracle if the group is set up right. Kevin

I have a little question about this utility before buying it.
One of my friend did this effect 2 weeks ago. Since he is new to magic, the effect was so-so. I did not understand how he did it but I could find it bizarre when he did put the card back at the top of the deck. Anyone use this gimmick and have found a way to make it look nature<al? Can you just force a card and use it right now without putting it back on top of the deck? thanks |

Look at the above video clip. So you have the deck in your hand and it takes two hands to tear the card. Nothing un-natural about that. Perhaps your friend only practiced it for two or three months and was not sure of his handling.

Try this with the new tricked by Simon Taylor 'Factory Packed'. This will give you probably the best possible routine with the intercessor. Check it out at http://www.illusioncraft.co.uk

Getting back to the actually main idea of this thread, ways to use the intercessor, I prefer to combine it with the trick where you "scan" a card onto a picture of your hand using a Z f*** wallet. Perhaps someone knows who to credit that trick for, but that is my favorite use of the intercessor because the main body of the card is now a picture and they will not be able to see if the corner matches EXACTLY or if it is off by a little tiny bit.

Ok, so it appears that the trick I referenced is called Gertner's Photocopy Effect and I should clarify a little bit. I just tear the corner off and then make it look like I scan the big piece onto the paper. I never tear the big piece at all. I tape it onto the paper and when I take it out of the wallet at first, it doesn't even look like anything changed.
