Hi all,
this is preety much my first post on the Magic Café. This site is great! Anyways, I've been practicing and performing magic for about six months now and have gathered a fair collection of effects and DVDs. Anyways, I was looking into Michael Ammar's Easy to Master Card Miracles 2. (http://www.elmwoodmagic.com/?nd=full&key=346&keywords=ammar.*card.*volume.*2) I was hoping someone could tell me what some of these effects are. For example, what happens in "Card Warp?" Thanks, Craig |

Hi Craig,
Ammars Easy to Master Card miracles vol.2 is a great instructional video. "Card Warp" is a trick that involves two cards. You have a spectator fold one card in half sideways and you fold one in half lenthwise. Its hard to explain but you make a card reverse when you push it half way through. The video explains it a lot better then I can, it is worth the money if you buy it. Hope this helped out a little. |

Ammars Card Miracles are great to have. If your starting out in card magic; may I suggest that you purchase, "Basic Card Technique- by Richard Kauffman*" I always forget the proper spelling of his last name, but anyway. It's good beginners look at various technical moves that would be very helpful in your studies. Keep it up! Keep in touch!

All of the Ammar Card videos are great, but volume two is my favorite. Get it!

Yes the Ammar videos are good. After having view all the sets from 1-9 I can tell you that the best set is vol 1-3.

I own volumes 1-3 and I would have trouble recommending one over the others. The effect that I like the best are:
Volume 1: 8 Card Brainwave Red Hot Mama Triumph Cannibal Cards Volume 2: Twisting the Aces Daley's Last Trick Card Warp Ambitious Card MacDonald's Aces Volume 3: Between the Palms Title Bout Jazz Aces Card in Wallet I can't perform all of these effects yet, but I'm working on them... |
