I picked up this book a couple months ago and haven't been able to spend a whole lot of time with it, so I don't have a whole lot I can say about it. There does seem to be some neat stuff in it, though.
There's some very clever impossible locations. I was fooled very badly with a variation of one of them before I purchased the book. I'd be surprised if you don't find at least SOME stuff you can use. If you get it, be sure to check out his work on nail-nicks. It's great. Paul

How is this book different from the original "Artful Dodges of Eddie Fields," which I still own?

The Greater Artful Dodges of Eddie Fields is an expanded book. Jon Racherbaumer has added some additional info. Eddie has some really nice work in this book. Some of my favorites are with the Waikiki location. This can be done over the phone. It is great to use when trying to book a big show. They have no clue how you name their freely selected card. The nail nicks section is also very good. I love the way ahead card to cardcase on page 18. Even magicians never see this one coming. Well worth the money.

This is an excellent book, great insights into the mind of a real genius. Remember: the Invisible Deck presentation was almost entirely Eddie's idea! And his work on telephone effects is well worth your looking into, not to mention his psychology of HOW to fool someone.
Highly recommended. Lee Darrow, C.H.

Is the "Greater Artful Dodges of Eddie Fields" an expanded version of the original "Artful Dodges of Eddie Fields" or is it a "book 2" (and contains totally different material and no duplicative material to the original work)?
In other words, does the "Greater Artful Dodges of Eddie Fields" book contain all of the material covered in the original "Artful Dodges of Eddie Fields" book plus some additional new material(s)? Thanks for the info. Mike
