I remember someone sold a grilled cheese sandwich, and got like 15,000 for it on ebay because one side of sandwich, the burn makrs resembled the virgin mary's face on it. Crazy what people will buy ey?

Donster, that's called shill bidding and is just one of the (totally against the rules) ways for the unwary to get scammed. You can generally tell when it's happening, but good luck proving it.
You're right about the greed element though. There are scads of "get rich quick" articles regarding buying and selling on ebay. If you play it right, you can get good deals from either side (whether buying or selling), but you do have to be wary and read feedback ratings carefully. |

Helen the only way to possibly prove it is to find out the names the people have/use and turn it over to ebay.
