I've been reading lotsa of rave reviews for both.
Would someone who has owned and used both systems please offer some guidance. The good and the bad of both systems, please. I want to spend about $500-600 for an all-around system. Thank you. |

I picked up a brand new Fender Passport PD 150 including stands for 499.00 U.S., the Fender has 150 watts of power compared to the PAS767 which has 20 watts. The Fender has 3 line inputs and one mono/stero line in, the PAS767, I believe has two line inputs with built in wireless reciever.
I have not heard the PAS767 in action, however I would tend to think that having two speakers would sound better than one. Especially the Fender's speakers, since they were designed by Bose. Just my 2 cents. Robert. |

I have not USED both systems but I have HEARD both and there is no comparison.
You are comparing a Moped and an automobile! The PAS is a totally different animal. Sound quality is very different.

I bought my Fender Passport PD150 brand new off eBay. The price of 499.00, included speaker stands, the only other expense was shipping and of course duty since I live in Canada. You don't have to worry about that!! Robert. |

Look here. I bought mine from Bananas back in August and they were running an un-advertised special and they included the speaker stands. It was quite a suprise when they arrived. BTW - I recommend the PD150 also.
