Hello!
I need to learn the finger tip muscle pass for a routine that I'm working on and I'm wondering what the best source to learn the sleight from is? I know that it is Kainoa Harbottle's move and I know that he has a download teaching it, but I did read some reviews saying that the explanation isn't very good or in-depth. Someone else mentioned Michael Rubensteins At the table lecture. Thank you. Best wishes Lord_Wallmotto |

I purchased this and it was a real disappointment. It appeared as if someone stop him in the hallway and he gave a brief overview of the technique then a actual lesson. It is a weak instructional video.
It is about 10 minutes long. |

His first video was less than par. Kind of older and probably self shot. He did a much better one with Colin McNamara on Vanishing Inc’s site that I found very thorough.

My explanation, found on the At the Table lecture, as well as in my Penguin live lecture two and NYCMS dvd series, is easy to follow but is a sleight variation of Kainoa's move which mskes it easier for me.
S.E.M. (The Sun, the Moon, and the Earth) is a sun and moon routine unlike any other. Limited to 100 sets, here is the promo:

Total sixteen minutes of content. It should have been part of a larger series of effects. Otherwise, good video quality, lighting, and no stupid music. |

Kainoa also described it on the NYCMS dvd series

Wallmotto, I suggest you get Michael's lecture or the NYCMS dvd, that way there is added value to your purchase (additional content).

Kainoa has a video dedicated to this move on his website, I believe he's having a sale also.

Kainoa addresses it on his penguin live lecture, as well. It's honestly not a difficult move to explain, so any of the material is fine for learning. Once you understand the concept, it's all knack and practice.

Still available at his website. It's part of a larger series of effects, routines, and moves written in notes he sold at Coinvention 2003. Now you can have it for $20 bucks directly from him. www.magicofkainoa.com |
