I cut it in half and placed it on a belt. Plan on using this with project Polaroid. Lots of built in misdirection and the card pops from a photo.

Nice idea but the 2 steps retrieving card process may not so practical comparing with other index gimmick.

I got my unit today, and it did not include a set of folded cards. The Vanishing, Inc. page says that it includes cards. I wrote to them to let them know. Just an FYI. Can't wait to get this up and running. Looks like a winner.

Just out of curiosity, who is still using it on a regular basis?

I’ve never used it once and regret the purchase. I’d be curious to hear if anyone is actually using it regularly at all as well.

I definitely don’t regret the purchase, nor do I use it all the time. However, I absolutely love using it in combination with mint box.
I usually have the belt on during walk around, but don’t keep the packets loaded. They’re in a baggie in my walk around case. I tried keeping them on during the whole gig but they’d fall off if I moved too abruptly, or bumped into someone, so for that I’m disappointed (I’m working on replacing the magnets with stronger magnets but it remains to be seen if that’ll do the trick.) However, the reactions of conjuring their thought of card into the mint box they’ve been holding the whole time is worth the hassle of popping on each packet after dipping into a bathroom. I don’t know of any other thought of card tonimpossible location that is as clean. So… other than the strength of the magnets, I do love this. |
