What are the year round pitches that are also atleast decently workable during the weekdays.

I'm retired, but have done a little busking over the years, mainly just to see if I could do it, if ever necessary. I decided that I could do it, but, I had plenty of work booked, so I didn't pursue it.

You may not get many replies to your question, as full time buskers may not desire to have others competing for the same location!

Dick is correct it’s not something most people are going to post.
If they have a pitch that they work why spread it around.
Buskers are rare breed that travel the world looking for a pitch to entertain the masses.
I’ve been globe trotting since 86 and have yet to find a workable pitch all year.
Weather plays a big part in that, maybe read Dreamers Highway.
Ok you can work Clearwater beach year around but the hats are way small
And you can only work a few hours in the evening.
Key west is also workable year round way way hot in the summer.

Covent Garden in London is the closest I can think would be a all year round pitch. But it still has its quite slow days.

The original question intrest me and I would love a answer to these questions,
1- Why one pitch all year round?
2-If your willing to travel why not do tour of pitches?
3- If you want to work just one pitch why not ask how to work one pitch at good and bad times?

1. I want to know where the good pitches are. I have the idea that a good pitch is good year round. Would be good to know where I could live and buy a house, I want to be around a good pitch.
2. Exactly, I just don't know how to plot a route. I assume that if where I'm working is bad I during, February, if I go to the Holy grail year round pitch, it would be decent at that time. I'm really just curious if such a place exist. I know buskers follow the weather, but I'm from southern California, the weather is always perfect, when the money is bad, what the hell do I do? The only year round place I'm aware of is Santa Monica, Frank Deville works the pier year round, only problem is I hate LA, yuck, anyone from southern California will understand lol, Santa Monica is actually lovely so I might end up moving out there. I wonder if seattle is good year round, I see some youtube videos and its the same guys working times like september

3.I fear the bad times, that's why I'm learning coding and video editing, can't depend on busking alone.

Are you asking about American pitches only....or on a world scale???????
If so, I am probably able to answer your question as much as anyone.

Doesn't have to be American specifically, but I'm planning a trip around the US so it would be helpful : )

The obvious limitations are easy to spot.

That's obvious,..to you as well....I'm sure.
But, 'creating a good Pitch',
that's IS something that CAN be learned(!).
Combine that with a good weather map,...

San Francisco is more or less year round. Rain will kill a lot of days in the winter, but there are still nice days too.
