Big Blind Media has put out four DVDs entitled Ultimate Self Working Card Tricks, which consists of the following four videos:

Ultimate Self Working Card Tricks Vol 1 (2012)
Ultimate Self Working Card Tricks Vol 2 (2013)
Ultimate Self Working Card Tricks Vol 3 (2014)
Awesome Self Working Card Tricks (2015)

All the videos contain self-working card tricks and only self-working card tricks. I know that there's some strong material here, but I'm wondering how these four volumes compare.

Which is the best of the set? Which is the weakest? And what tricks that are included are your favourites?

I have the first 3. Haven't seen the last.

I prefer the first: all the tricks are decent, but it's pre-prefiguration that I actually use. The second was th weakest, IMHO. Not that it was bad, just the other two were so strong.

Of the tricks on the last one I'm familiar with: Automatic ace assembly and FTT are awesome.

I like 1 and 4 most. My favourite tricks are:
- Shuffling lessons (use it or C3 all the time)
- Shufflebored
- contact colours
- Poker Pairadox
- Devastation (absolute killer when performed correctly)
- Emotional Reaction
- Double Salto (learned it years ago, brought this back to my mind)
- Automatic Ace Assembly (fools me every time I do it. If you like this I recommend REALLY?! by Harry Lorayne)

Rod, I made the original post in 2018 when trying to decide which volume to buy. I ended up starting with Volume #1 based on feedback I got here and elsewhere.

My favourite routines from that volume are Contact Colors (Aldo Colombini), Shuffling Lesson (Chad Long), Shufflebored (Simon Aronson), and Impossible (Larry Jennings). I think that overall it is a very solid collection, and the strongest of the entire set.

Other personal favourites from the series include Convergence (Cameron Francis) from Vol #2, Devastation (Geoff Williams) from Vol #3. From "Awesome Self Working Card Tricks" I especially enjoy Power Of Thought (Paul Curry), Emotional Reaction (Dai Vernon), Further Than That (Stewart James), and The Future Deck (Jack Vosburgh).

Preconfiguration is really good, I also like Sense-sational, Devastation and Unbelievable. I own all of them and my favorite is the first volume but all of them are great.
