From "What is so wonderful about our magic is the entirely irrational is proved by entirely rational means." To: "Magic is on its own irrational because when you look to see how it works you discover it works on its own whims and on its own level of necessity and why should it have to follow any rules, anyhow?"
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Yes, since the word you use is only about 10% of the impact in verbal communication,
focusing on expansion of phrase will further dilute proper focus on delivery and presence. Yet, for many, seeing live magic performance may override traditional concerns - but I would guess at fewer words with emotion rather than than a verbal storm.

Patter is a game for those who know it isn't real but make-believe it is.
Still, it makes them feel good. Yes, you will feel good after a game of Patter if you understand the rules, and even if you don't, you'll walk away laughing and satisfied.

You are talking about the evening news, right?
naah, confusion is never magic. Humor might have a place in audience engagement, but is not the objective. Satisfied? How can they be if they expect a challenge of the impossible and get slapstick with mind-painful blather? I expect more of a magician. A good storyline can help on the theatrical side, but just scrambling words or fill does not make a good story. I guess those who would use such an app lack creativity and imagination. No surprise - just sad.

It seems to me, that the entirely irrational proposition, to be proved by entirely rational means, is the drama of our magic. Drama, in essence, is a decidedly unreal activity: a game, a play if you will, for those who know it’s unreal but make-believe it’s real.
The entire drama of a magic work can be reduced to a single fact; that it is all illusion; that, by means of doubt, surprise, confusion, and the subterranean labyrinths of it’s real.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.
We are all mad here he says. And it’s all the fault of those people over there. Every time those people over there wave their hands, something mysteriously moves from one place to another.
