A big hello to all my magical friends out there. My name is Kenny McComb and I am a magician and mind reader from Hollywood California, now residing in Hampstead, London, UK. When not performing card magic or mentalism I provide canine actors for film and television. Another interest of mine is anything CIRCUS related. My business partner Bruno is an ex high flyer on the trapeze with Circus Latino and both of us are huge devotees of anything inside the ring.
Magical influences are Eugene Burger, Max Maven, Quentin Reynolds, Seigfried and Roy and Zee. Bruno and I also spend 3 months of the year in Marakesh; we'd love to hear from any finger flingers in that part of the world too! Click here to view attached image. |

Hello, and welcome, Kenny.
I hope you enjoy what the Café offers, and partake of the menu. If you need to know something just ask, someone or a few dozen members will probably help you out. Also, if you have anything to add or impart, send the signals here too. Hopefully, I may see Quentin at Blackpool, (if he goes this year!). If not, I'll see him in Dublin at the IBM convention in May. 'McComb'....mmmmm. No relation to the great Billy McComb, are you? Alan

Maybe you'd be interested in my "poop scoop change bag". I've raised more than a few eyebrows on Hampstead Heath with Goldstein (my beautiful Cairn terrier pictured left) when scooping up his "business" and then turning the bag inside out to show it empty! Hi Kenny, welcome to the board! It's always nice to talk to someone who has made magic into a career. You seemed very seasoned with a lot of experience in different areas. Why the move to London from Hollywood? Was it a better business market out there?

Hi Jeff, nice to know you!
Magic is my love but dog training is my business and it's my business that brought me to the UK. Supplying canine actors for the film and television industry is a very specialized field here in London, in Hollywood why hire a dog when you can book a chimpanzee on roller skates?! Also I have been renovating small run down old houses in this area for quite a number of years now. There's nothing my business partner Bruno and I like doing more than poking around musty old cottages in the North London area. Kenny x |

Hi Again Kenny,
Oh I am so thrilled you joined us as I too have dogs waiting for their moments of stardom! Your experience will be a great asset on the Polly wants a Cracker forum which deals with animals on stage. Nothing makes me happier than chatting about magic and dogs! Shaggy, whom is pictured in my avatar with me sadly passed away a few months ago at the age of 15. I have another three at home but Merlin my Old English Sheepdog is the one that has been magician in training since the age of 8 wks. He's twice the size of Shaggy! Here's a silly photo of my bunch at Christmas http://www.rjp.ca/stuff/xmas3pups.jpg I'll look forward to chatting with you on the forums! Chrystal |

Mostly obedience and things of that nature, enough to sustain a decent living teaching classes and training one on one clients throughout the week. I think it would have been great to get involved with the whole show business thing, but that has never happened. Great talking to you!
