I'm not a book person. But if you are into cards get Daryl's Encyclopedia of Card sLeights. They are all great and teach tons of stuff.Good Luck!

If you like cards, Paul Cummins FASDIU(from a shuffled deck in use) is all about card tricks that can be done from a shuffled deck.

I'd strongly recommend LifeSavers by Michael Weber. It was fun, and gets you thinking about ways to be extremely magical with the mundane objects of everyday life.
