Hey guys I have come up with a new gimmick for Billiard balls. I just need help in Manufacturing this gimmick and putting it on the Market.. Who Would I talk to about this???
Well, the gimmick is used to vanish Billiard balls while doing your own routine and leaving your hand completely empty without the use of a topit, sleeving etc. You do have to wear a jacket and it has some angle problems... it still needs more work and I was hoping someone could help me. But overall it is an amazing thing to have. I am pretty sure everyone would want to own one.... Please email me Thanks.. JRLOVE _________________ Its all an illusion |

What do you need manufactured? if you need plasitc parts made specifically for that you need to makemolds etc/.. this can get expensive.

Often one finds that a new idea is actually something someone came up with a long time ago... re-inventing the wheel, so to speak. First off find out if it is really new. Or, publish an article wherein you describe how to make one and how to use it and say it "may already exist out there somewhere, but that this is a variation on older principles and useful for today's audiences" etc. I used to write copy for magic catalogs. Usually it is safer not to claim that something is totally original because it could turn up in an old book.

Such a broad question with no specifics. Can you post a video or give some more detailed information?

Yes, your question is to vague,
Do you mean wood Billiard balls, or the silicon type that clings, or even the soft sponge type? then there is the pointer service type. What size ball will your gimmick fit, 1.75 inch, 2 inch, 2 1/8 inch, or an actual billiard ball? To make them, you contact a company, metal shop if it is made of metal, plastic manufacturer if it is made of plastic. clothing manufacturer if it is made of cloth, etc. Then if they are interested, have them make a prototype, and go from there. Of course you will need capital get this far. Be careful, if you show it to the wrong people, then they may just steal it from you, and manufacture it themselves. To sell them you just contact all the magic wholesalers, and sell it to them. Some may even order a huge amount, because the bigger quantity, means they get more discounts. If you can't make large quantities yourself, then you may just have to make them all, or find some employees to help make them. Most wholesalers, don't buy just an idea. you can perform it for them, but never never let them see and handle the product. If you can afford traveling, then Murphy Magic has entered the creation of magic props, and wholesaling them theirselves. Of course you will have travel to them, and give a good sales presentation to make the deal. One way to know it your product is any good, is to show it to magicians in your area, and see if there is a demand for your gimmick afer one demostration. The have some made to sell to them. Good luck. |
