I had a guy in the restuarant where I work who was really cute and also an ice hockey player. Not only do Americans say 'hockey' the sexiest way ever, (ask a British person to say it an you will see why) but they are generally very appealing guys?
Anyway, I'm travelling the States during the summer, so I'm going to try to catch as many games as I can, so can anyone enlighten me into the best teams to watch? thanks, Dizzy |

It's gonna be TOUGH, Dizzy, because the NHL (Natinal Hockey League) is invloved in a union lock-out. In other words, the highest level of North American hockey is NOT playing! Normally, the most exciting places in North America to watch are in the Canadian cities (Toronto, Montréal, etc...) and the norther-most American teams (Detroit, Chicago, NYC). Hockey is MASSIVE in Canada, pretty big in the northern states, and relatively marginal in the south. You can still find LOTS of games between second-tier teams, and if you're not an experienced enthusiast, I imagne you'll find them to be just as enjoyable!
Cheers from Toronto!

It's a fabulous time to visit the States. But it's a terrible time to visit if you want to see hockey played professionally.
But come anyway. The exchange rate for currency is very much in your favor. -Dan |
