Larry,
I have not had the pleasure of seeing you live an in person. I have only seen you on your video tapes which I'm sure are cut and edited. So what I was wondering is How long is your standard show and how many routines do you use in a show? Thanks, Dan

I have five basic effects that I use for 30-45 minute performances. Naturally since my effects are modular, I always carry two additional effects in the event that I'm requested to do more time. Larry

Mr. Becker
Looking over your 5 effects do you have an outline you could suggest when putting a show together. For example: What type of effect would you open with? Fast, slow? Would you put comedy in next? Audience participation Mystery How would suggest to close. Ron Calhoun

My opener is calculated to introduce the audience to my character (personality) and to quickly establish what it is that I am going to be doing. The opening effect is one that shows the audience that volunteers are going to be treated with respect and that the experience is a pleasant one. This encourages others that volunteering is not a bad thing. The initial effect is an imaginary shopping trip. I apparently am able to know the volunteer's favorite store...her favorite sdepartment in the store and finally the amount of money she spends.
The second effect is designed to provide a bit of humor as well as a continuation of my ability to do some pretrty unusual things (Sneak Thief) a demonstration of psychometry with a design duplication finish. In the third spot I purchase a quanity of $1 bills from the audience, for $5 each. A participant then freely selects any one of the bills. With my back turned thrpoughout I reveal the 8-digit serial number. (Serial Killer). Fourth is my Casino Light, a three part revealtion of a Casino, one hand of blackjack and the amount of money the participant wins. For closing...it's my standing ovation routine of Ultimate Flashback...a multi-phased series of inexplicable book test miracles.

Yes, they are on a DVD that I made in Dallas a few months ago. Lee calls it "Larry Becker Live." I should have added "Just barely" to it. ;-)
