So you saw what I spent the morning doing? There were tree limbs that would shade Lucy's new rose garden. So Mr. Magic spent the day as a termite making holes for light to get through to the royal roses. (I'm about ready for four roses myself. It's five o'clock somewhere!)

I can't do that. We have a planning meeting at six for a benefit. We are the only magic act. This sounds like another opportunity to try to do stage magic with a stand or handheld mic while trying to avoid falling over band instruments. I could have been a stunt man and lived a safer life!

Ricker, the site is beautiful! I will try again. I was using all caps for the code. Was that a No! No!?

Michael, after looking at the official "Here's How to Make a Spring", I'm ashamed of the mousetrap solutions I have had to live with. Obviously, I R knot a kraftsman.

Eat more possum.

So I guess we need to move the meeting, since Saturday seems booked.

Do you guys have a day you'd like to do it during the week, or is that more insane.

WoW! There's been a lot goin' on here!

That table's lookin' gooooood!

Thanks again Mr. Baker. I'm going to see if they have that book "Shop Tips" at Barnes and Noble (close to where I live now, and I have a gift card from Christmas Smile).

I'm kind of upset, because my mom ended up throwing out my cross I was almost finished with (need to get a burning tool still). She said she just saw it in the basement and didn't think it was anything important, just a chunk of scrap wood...(that's a classic excuse Smile). I'm not mad, though...because "it happens" (my favorite phrases Smile). I learned that it takes forever to sand plywood too! LOL I think it's time to make use of that table saw...need more plywood. Don't know what to do now...but I'll try to make good use of my time.

Now, I'm going to register at the PMZZ board.

So, for coining that phrase, do I get paid royalties of $0.000000000002 for every time that site is viewed?

Oooo... Hiding the Elephant!! You're gonna love that one!

Believe it or not, they have that at my local public library (yea!)

I just re-read Shop Tips and found two things that will save me a lot of time and money. Hope you find it good, Daniel.

Got started on another cross with my last little piece of plywood...had to saw by hand again, though. lol Sanding is going to be the hardest part. Takes forever to do it by hand...maybe I should whip out the electric sander. I don't know how I did it last time, but I'm stuck with two little blocks of wood that have to get cut out. There are two cuts on the sides, and it's connected at the bottom. Maybe I should use a chisel and hammer (back to the stone age!) to get it out.

By the way, about the sanding...with or against the grain?

Rick,

Saturday is still good if we make plans fast! Friday is a busy day.

Michael, thanks for the smoke info.

I take it the Tabman is in GA eating real food.

I'm making plans now for Kidabra! Anyone else going? It's Aug. 16-20.

I spent part of the day rereading Rice Vol. 1 & 2. I learn something every time.

Is there a Tandy leather store in B'ham? We have some unicorn needs in the harness goods. We can make them but I need some hair-on leather.

Daniel, can do that with the router? It may keep you from spliting it.

Don't forget the whiffle dust!
