Hi Larry, glad to see you on the Café! I was just wondering, what is your take on effects that fall into the "psychokinetic" category of mentalism, like metal bending, animation or levitation effects? Have you ever done these, and what do you think is a good way to present them other than the run-of-the-mill "look how cool I am to have these mysterious powers that you don't" approach? Or do you think this gets too close to magic to work into a mentalism act? Thanks!

I think they're great. Guys like Banachek and Osterlind kill with it. I just never cared for it myself.
