What are the equipment I need to make my own demo? I'm on a tight budget, so I have to plan carefully.

If you want to make something a little more professional, find out if there is a local cable-access station in your area. Almost all of them offer free classes on how to plan, shoot and produce your video. And it's free.
Sign up as a volunteer, and you will have access to much higher-end equipment than most people have lying around the house. If you are serious about a demo, it's going to be out there competing with other demos. Make it look the best it can be. I would also suggest making a storyboard ahead of time to save yourself a ton of time in editing, and shooting. I do videography in addition to magic, so email me at jamesanthony@jvlnet.com if you want any more tips or resources. A demo can be made cheaply, but it's very important that it doesn't LOOK cheaply made. |

Limhanchung,
Go to: http://www.fredbecker.com/promovideos.htm and order Fred's book. It has up to date information that is an absolute must for ANYONE considering producing a demo video! Lyndel ![]() |
