I heard that Chris Korn did some nice stuff with coins at the LVMI Lecture. I also heard he was selling some old lecture notes. Does anyone know where to get them or how to contact Chris?
Thanks KEN |

I will be reviewing Chris' lecture notes on my website in the future. You can buy them from Chris by emailing him at chriskorn@worldnet.att.net

Dan,
Can you shed a little light on what is contained in Korn's lecture notes? PM me if you must, but I would love to hear more about his notes. Corey B. |

Contents:
Bluff Sealed and Smoked: two card selection, one signed and returned to deck, a sealed envelope is pulled out to have the cards, one card is actually printed inside the envelope. One for the bar: a one card selection that appears in a numbered stack of bar napkins. Extra Ambitious: an ambitious card sequence where the selection not only comes to the top, but jumps to the other hand invisibly. Coppa Silva: an in-the-spectator's-hand copper silver transposition. This was in Magic magazine recently. The Liptack Sighting: a three coin production-vanish-reproduction where on the productions the third coin always appears right on the table. One Behind: a strolling coins across routine. |

These notes "Be Fruitful and Multiply" are brilliant. Looking at the coin routines in here the best is "The Liptack Sighting", which is a great vanish and reproduction of three coins. This is a great routine to practice your misdirection.
Chris' routines are brilliant and very direct. If you want to see his routines you could either get his new Bob Kohler magic DVDs Extreme Korn and Radical Korn or instead you could buy his lecture video that he made for International Magic, when he was lecturing there two years ago! Owen |

I saw the Liptack Sighting right in front of me. Chris performed it for me and this other guy and it fooled me pretty bad since he used great misdirection for the coins on the table sequences. He is pretty good from my watching.

Owen, do you really think those notes--the ones Korn did for International Magic--are still available? If so, where might someone look for them?

Chris has a couple of notes floating around. AN old set of notes from his Japan lecture tour that are awesome. London Lecture Notes "Be Fruitful And Multiply", and most recently his notes from the 2004 Las Vegas Seminar "Korn-Flakes".
Best, Nathan
