You can find them lots of places, for example by doing a GOOGLE search. Alternatively, you can check out that famous "auction" site on the WEB and search for the words "neodymium-iron-boron" in the title and description.

Thank you Larry,

I'll do this right now. In France the dealers have not a very important choice. And the few web site I found on Google were only for electrical motors.

Hello

Go to http://www.kjmagnetics.com

I have ordered twice from them and they have very fast service and strong magnets. For example one size I bought were about the size of a quarter and they were 1/4 of an inch thick. They came with plastic washers between them and it is all I can do to get them separated. I use some thinner ones to hold a magnetic name tag on through my sport coat.

Hope this is helpful!!!

Thanks too Bob for your information.

I saw there, the Permanent Magnet Levitator. It remains me a stone I saw on television. It was like an enormous cigar and was floating permanently over another stone. Of course I believe it was false stone and real magnets but the problem is this. How the upper floating magnet does not turn on itself to atract and be attracted by the lower one ? I never found any solution.

Well guys, here is the best magnet company in the world. It is called Midwest Industries in Meeker, Oklahoma. They only carry commercial magnets and the biggest Magic Shops in the world shop there. And they do not want you to know. They have every magnet imaginable. I have been doing business with them for five years. Their prices are really cheap.A $40.00 magnet on internet cost me $7.00. Magnets for playing cards were .07 each compared to other shops for $2.00.Phone number is 405-279-4595 and they love Magicians. They are on the internet, but I do not know the address.

I beleive the part with the repelling magnet is weighted, so the weights hold it in the correct position.

The owner of Midwest is having some legal problems. I don't know if this has anything to do with the inability to access the website.

Well, go ahead and pay up to 60% more if you want for the exact same magnets, or go to
http://www.magnet4sale.com and save yourself a bundle.
They have a fantatstic selection, and some of the highest grade magnets I've ever seen.
I've bought from them twice now, no problems whatsoever, and have been very satisfied with the magnets I got - especially for the price !!

If you have some damaged HDD (hard disc drive), open it, and you will be amazed with the magnets you will find inside it...

This site seems to be dramtically cheaper than any of the other links suggested in this thread:
http://www.magnet4less.com/index.html

For example,a 1"x1"x0.5" with a 49lb pull for $1.20! Or the classic 2"x2"x0.5", 96lb pull, $9.99.
I like the thinner 2x2x0.25, 48lbs, $4.20. Should be easy to conceal inside the sleeve with that thickness.

Try clubbing (joining) two 1"x1"x0.5" together. At a meager cost of $2.40 the power almost doubles. Of course the thickness also doubles.
