Too true, Kyle. That is why I love Children's magic. No matter how difficult it is, their laughs and smiles make it all worthwhile.

I found a very nice rabbit in the hat puppet at my grocery store just before Easter. Incredibly, the price was only $6.00. I'd never had that type puppet before, but at that price I couldn't pass it up and figured I'd find a use for it somewhere.
See ya! Joe L.

I like the Rabbit in hat puppet from Folkmanis. I use this one for kidshows. Here is a picture: http://www.folkmanis.com/imagefilesA/rabinhat.JPG

The Folkmanis rabbit is just a toy really. I use the puppet sold by One Way Street. It is ideal for performing with. There is pleanty of space in the hat & the puppet is seperate from the hat with your hand entering thru the back, not the bottom of the hat.
I also was surprised at how strong this hand puppet was when I began useing it. Kids love it! My routine seems to get great reactions from any age group. Preschoolers right up to children aged 8,9 & 10 love it.

It is supposed to be in a frame so does not link that well. Yes you found the rabbit. I've used mine in over 500 shows since I got it & it still looks great. I just put my bunny thru the washing machine every month or so to keep him looking clean.

I made my own Rabbit in a Hat puppet. I used an old top hat, cut a hole in the side and attached a rabbit puppet with some extra jersey knit black fabric sewn to the puppet and glued to the hole in the hat. By using the full size top hat, it holds a lot of things. My puppet does a routine with a chick pan and a balloon and the birthday child who magically fixes the balloon after it's broken by the rabbit and they get to keep the balloon that appears.

I love the RITH ! My "Binky the Bunny" is a huge hit with the kids.
The routine is that he used to belong to a magician so he thinks he can do magic, which of course he can't. Produces a Dove (bar of soap), does the chain escape (lets it go - The chain escaped) etc etc Lots of laughs as he whispers his answer to me (which I translate)
