Has any body seen or got the marc Spelman DVDs. I was going to buy them until I read the review in magic magazine. Would like to hear anyone else's opinion.

HUGE HUGE thread on this a few months ago. Quick search should bring it up. overall, folks appeared to like it (myself included). Some dissenters....

Actually, Michael Close, a professional reviewer, hated them. Many on this board shared his opinions. "Some dissenters..." and a bunch of people who appear to know Spelmann/Alakazam personally raved about it (almost all were from the UK, strangely...). Many of those who liked the dvds still thought they were over-hyped and over-priced. I fall into this category.

Michael Close doesn't like a lot of things but I too agree that it is a little over-priced.

I personally heard the guy (Spelman) was Darren Brown quality.

I haven't seen any of his stuff myself, but my curiosity is indeed sparked.
