Dear Café Members -

I've written a few times on the Café but thought this might be the best place to ask - I'm in India but willing to travel quite far in mid April when I'm hoping to stay with a past Master of Magic (any genre - I focus on Cards though it might be an idea to learn another) and learn from him, study him + improve my skills. I have about a month to spend doing this and could in extremis come to the states but the ticket would cost an arm + a leg and preferably it'd be someone in Asia or there abouts... Does anyone know of a suitable Magician? I'd pay all my way of course.

Any help HUGELY appreicated guys.
THank you in advance.
D.

Hi D.

If I were you I'd consider contacting Jeff McBride for ideas on where to go to learn "from a master". I've heard he can be pretty encouraging and may have good suggestion for the instruction you seek. You can e-mail him through his website:

I checked out your website. I liked the Scott quote on the homepage, I've actually got one of the original Phantom manuscripts in my library--

Best of luck--
Dan
