Just wondering if he markets the effect or somebody else does its the one where the white caps come off then back on.

I don't think its a trick you can buy. that's why its in his act,and that's why we love it. Sucessful stage acts are mostly original items magicians come up with on their own and almost never release. If you absolutely MUST do this trick, I can see a few ways you could achieve the desired outcome. Use your imagination, but better yet, come up with a better effect of your own! cheers

I guess my eyes were deceiving me. I looked like an oval wand painted differently on each side to me for the tip vanishing.
