I have Werry's silk dream and I think it is not very practical.....Try Rice's Silk Encyclopedia vol. 3....Hen fetch silk popper . This is easy to use and has no gimick that will malfunction .It is in the chapter on openers.

I personally like the bare hand production using a hank ball. Check out Duane Laflin's excellent DVD on rediscovering this amazing little device.
"What's your drug?" she asked. "Hope" he said, "The most addicting one of all."

Take a look at this thread :
http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=54 It is Levent's Flash Silk Production , often credited to Vito Lupo. You can find it demo'ed on Jeff McBride's "On Stage" video/dvd series where he credits it to Vito Lup . Levent set the record straight here on the Café. Whoever created it , it's a fine bare-handed silk production . A natural progression from Hen Fetch's "Silk Popper" production mentioned above . D |

I use a combination of the above mentioned production along with a hank ball.
Works very well. |

Tony Clark has also a good one.
You can see the effect demo on his site.

Carlos Corda silk production is the same as Vito Lupo's. Vito Lupo, I would imagine copied it and made it larger to produce a 24" silk. The original from Supreme Magic used an 18" silk.
Tony Clark's Black and White streamer production is quite different and easy to accomplish. It birth is from the Gloves to Flowers trick. I own all the above any are good. I believe there is another copy of the Carlos Corda silk production currently on the market. |

I bought one from fabric manipulations, out of vegas... at pcam 2004. It looks exactly like tony clarks but it was black. It works very well but I have never really got around to using it.
