Another option is to simply break a window and throw something on fire in. When a fire gets to a huge heat as it must have been to torch everything in the wearhouse windows blow out because of incredible heat and pressure thus destroying evidence.

Aptaker, that can,t be right cause if the windows blew out the glass would be on the outside of the warehouse but if you broke a window the glass would be on the inside, mike

Could have poured petrol through a letterbox or other small opening then using a long match or similar put that through the letter box/opening and when the fumes ignite you can remove the match leaving no evidence other than the use of petrol which the firedepartments can detect, but no evidence linking you with it.

You could superglue a small object to the glass window and pull it to make the glass go outside the window when it broke. You could easily keep the glued object with you so the investigators would never be able to find that evidence. The investigators would only find broken glass on the outside of the building so that would fool the investigators. They would never be able to (or think of) re-assembling the broken glass pane to determine if any part of it was missing. Staring the fire is easy, making it look like your entry was an exit would baffle even the greatest forensic investigator. Having an explosion that blew out all the windows would further hide the entry point. Magicians are problem solvers, and I only use my powers for the good on mankind, never evil!

Good guess, actually he used a special magnifying lens to cast a hot ray toward a flammable object, thus starting the fire.
