Although hard to get your hands on, one of my favorite "old magazines" is the Pallbearer's Review. Epilogue, and Chronicles (also by Karl Fulves) are also excellent, but the PR is my favorite. Of a more recent vintage, you can't go wrong by picking up the bound version of Richard's Almanac. Enjoy !

I almost find it amusing that in this day of instant gratification, nobody seems to want to wait to buy a really good book. There are so many great books available right now that most people don't even know exist. Either that, or they have outlived the "book du jour" stage and are somewhere on a back shelf.
Persistence is the key. If you want a copy of The Fine Art of Magic, check with Andy Greget and have him put you on his want list. BTW, you won't be able to do this on your computer. You may actually have to TALK to someone to do it. Also, leave your wants with Presto Magic Studio, H&R Books, George Daley, and all the other used book people. It may take you a year to get the book. But you will get it. And you will be glad. Also, check eBay from time to time. Good things show up there all the time. I got about a third of my cup collection from eBay.
